PART – 2
Maan was very angry at the Principal, who allowed a stranger near his daughter. Maan straight went into the office.
“Mr. Khurana, you here?” He asked.
“I have to. Because of you.” He said angrily.
“What happened?” He was confused.
“How dare you Mr. Khanna? Is this how you manage the safety of our kids?” Maan bursts on him. Don’t forget this school runs on my donation. I will fire you any time.” Maan was very angry and this makes the principal scared for his job.
“But Mr. Khurana what is my fault. Please say clearly.”
“On Saturday a stranger came to meet my daughter in school and you allowed her. How could you?”
“Sir please calm down. And listen to me. I am here responsible for every kid’s safety. I never do anything which causes harm to any student. The woman you are talking about is Avita’s mother and she came with all the proofs. In fact she came with a signing letter which declared that we allowed her to meet her daughter Avita.” He said in a flow.
“Signing letter?” Maan asked.
“Yes it was signed by you.” He showed him the letter.
Maan was shocked. It was an old paper. On which was signed by him. But it was his old sign. He changed them now. And the hand writing was not his.
He understood the person who came to meet his daughter used an old page when he was not successful as he is now.
He has a business but not as big as it is now. He works hard to gain this.
But who is the one who got this and used it against him.
“Is she really back?” Maan asked himself. He glanced at the principal.
“Even if she has all the proof, you should cross check it by calling me.” Maan scolded him for negligence. “Sign to fake bhi ho sakte hai.”
“But sir she has other proofs too. She proved that she is your wife.” He argued.
“I don’t give a damn what she did and what she proved. Why don’t you call me to cross check it.”
“But sir…” he was scared seeing his red eyes.
“Don’t you dare let anyone near my daughter. Or else….” He doesn’t hesitate to threaten him to death.
“I am sorry sir. It won’t happen again.
“Better for you.”
He cautioned him and walked out. But his heart wasn’t at peace. He was disturbed by this stranger’s entry in his life. Or better say in his daughter’s life.
Maan reached the office and called his assistant. “Aman I want to meet our private detective, right now.” He commands him.
“Sir any problem?” He concerned.
“Call him.” Maan gave him instructions and shut the topic.
“Right sir.” He said and walked out.
After one hour there was a knock on his door. He allowed the person.
“You call me?” He asked from Maan.
Maan told him the matter.
“Don’t worry. I will find out who the person is.” He assured him.
“Do it as soon as possible.” He commands and his spy nodded before leaving the cabin.
Maan leaves his file and leans back on his chair. He was thinking about the past.
“Kaha ho tum, Geet? Why you leave me alone. Kash tum mere sath hoti.”
Maan closed his eyes. And lost about past memories.
“Geet please listen to me. Please try and understand. I beg you.” He literally fell on his knees and joined his hands before her.
“Maan please stop it. Don’t do all this. Like you, I am also helpless. My dad also wants to see me as a successful career woman. I promised him. And I can’t leave all this just because of our love. Pyar apni jagah hai, lekin mera career apni jagah hai.”
“Geet, please.” Tears rolled out of his eyes.
“I am sorry Maan. But don’t worry. Meri taraf se tum free ho. Move on in life.” She said and snatched back her hand from his hands. She walked out of the room. Leaving Maan in tears and alone.
“Geet .. .” He said and jerked up from his seat. He walked towards the window of his room and glanced at the traffic. How is the trail of vehicles running here and there.
Time flies so fast. He was nothing at that time. Just trying to keep his father’s business safe. And now he has everything but still his heart is empty. He would die if Avita wasn’t there in his life.
“No way. Now why is she back. I will not let Avi go through all this. I face enough in life, but my baby will not face any trouble till I am alive, and even after that.” His fists firmed, which obstructed the flow of blood.
“Agar sach me woi wapis aai, then this will be her biggest mistake. Because now I won’t let anyone near my daughter. Jis din se wo paida Hui tumne kabhi use pyar nahi kiya. Or char mahine ki nanhi si jaan ko chhod ke jate hue bhi tumhe zara jhijhak nahi hui. To ab kya chahiye tumhen?” He hit the frame 🪟 so hard that it peeled off the skin of his hand and it starts bleeding.
But the pain is nothing for him in front of the pain he is going through because of Avita’s mother. His wife, who leaves both father and daughter in pain.
“Sorry mam, we are instructed by Mr. Khurana. We can’t let you meet Avita.” The principal clearly told the woman who is sitting in front of him.
“But why?” She asked. “I am her mother and no one would stop me.”
“Sorry mam. If you want to meet her then go to Khurana Mansion. In school, we aren’t allowed near her. And if you insist I will call Mr. Khurana first.” He said and she stopped him from doing this.
“No need to call him. He must be busy with his work.” She made an excuse.
“Then I am sorry Mam. You have to leave.” He told her.
Unwillingly she stood and walked out wearing her shades. “Fine. Maan. Tum mujhe zada der meri beti se dur nahi rakh sakte. Agar aise nahi to waise sahi. Main use court me case lad ke hasil kar sakti hu.” She said confidently and smirked in an evil way.
