Maan was thinking about his wife who left him and Avi 5 years ago. Sleep was far away from his eyes.

He was tensed for Avi’s safety. He was about to come out of his bed when his door was knocked by someone.

“Papa can I come.” He heard the voice of Avita and stood up to open the door.

“Avi beta why are you awake till now?” He asked to see the time.

“Papa neend nahi aa rahi Ponky ko.” She showed him, her favourite teddy while rubbing her eyes.

Maan held her hand. “Avi never rubs your eyes. It’s a bad habit.” He said and Avi stopped doing it. She smiled and asked again.

“Papa, Ponky ko apke sath sona hai.” She raised her teddy towards him and a huge smile came on his face.

It’s her old trick. Whenever she wants something, she does it in Ponky’s name.

Maan leaned on her. “Really? I don’t think so.” He always takes part in her plays.

“No Papa, I am not lying. Ponky said to me that he wants to sleep with you.” She said with such conviction that he literally laughed. “Papa don’t laugh at him.”

“But I am not laughing at him.” He said.

“Then?”

“You tell.” He said playfully.

“Papa.” She pouts and turns her back to him. Showing fake anger.

Maan lifts her in arms and takes both Avi and her teddy in his room.

Maan lay in bed and Avi sleeps on his chest. He patted her head softly so she could sleep calmly. Whenever she misses her mom or feels insecure, she comes to sleep with him.

Maan gets tensed. “She needs her but I can’t let her with Sania. I don’t know her intentions but I will not allow her to hurt you again.”

The next day after dropping at her school Maan reached the office. Soon his secretary informed that one woman came to meet her.

“Diya, I tell you don’t disturb me.” He was about to cut the call but he heard a familiar voice.

“I know, now my husband is very rich and busy but apni biwi se to mil hi sakte ho.”

His eyes widened hearing her voice. “Sania…” His words died.

“My, my, a big businessman like Maan Singh Khurana still remembers a long lost wife. It’s an honour for me.” She was sarcastic with him which boiled his blood.

“You bloody bitch.”

“A aa Mr. Khurana. I am still your wife and using this kind of language for your own wife is harmful for your reputation. Think about it.” She very cunningly threatened him.

“Give back phone to my assistant.” He commands and she smirks evil.

“As you say my love.” She said and handed back the mobile to her.

“Diya let her in.” He commands and she nodded.

“Yes sir.” She said and allowed her into his cabin.

Sania walked like a true model. No one can say she is a mother of a 5 year old kid. Her skin-fit outfit reveals her perfect body.

“How are you sweetheart?” She asked with an evil smile.

Maan locked the door with his remote and shot her a sharp glare. “I must say, you have so much courage. Else you will never come before me again in this lifetime.” His face was stern and glaring eyes emitting fire.

“Gosh you are still the same boring and non romantic person. In the past 5 years you won’t change a bit. I thought now you must be a Casanova who is surrounded by beautiful girls. But no you are still the same. An old man. Only I knew how I managed those two years with you.”

“Come straight to the point.” Maan cut her words and asked the reason for her coming.

“I won’t need a reason to meet my daughter and husband.” She said while sitting on the chair.

“Huhh .. as if I care. So stop lying and tell me the truth. I know you won’t care for Avi and me. So tell me what you want now.” He asked again.

Sania smiled. “Pakke businessman ban gaye ho ab to. Nice.”

“Don’t test my patience.” He warned her.

“Wo ho…. I am really intimidated by you Maan…” She mocked again.

Maan called his security inside. Soon all the guards were there. “Picked her and threw away from my office building.” He commands them.

Two guards step forward. “Easy Maan. I just want to meet my daughter. No need to do all this.”

“Don’t you hear what I said. Threw her out.” Maan ignored her and burst on his guards as they still had not moved her out of his cabin.

“Maan you will pay for this. You can’t stop me from meeting my baby. I am her mother and I can take her back from court.” She cautioned him while his guards were dragging her out.

“Dekhenge.” Maan too snapped.

“Maan now you will wait and watch.” She said in the end and became out of his sight as his guards took her away.

All staff start talking about this. Though Maan’s one warning stops the gossiping session in office but he knows it will not end here.

Sania will definitely create problems for him and Avita.

He called his lawyer instantly. Soon his lawyer Adi came there. Maan told him the matter.

“Now what does she want?” Even Adi was amused with her sudden return. He was not just his legal advisor but a true friend as well.

“I don’t know exactly what she wanted. But one thing is sure her intentions are not good.” Maan said.

“What do you want?” Adi asked.

“I just want a permanent rid from her. I know she will create problems for me. She even threatened me with Avi’s Custody.” Maan told him.

“So she wants to create a sensation in the market by targeting Avi.”

“Maybe. I just want to keep my daughter away from this. Especially from her.”

“You are right.”

“Adi case ke liye prepration start kar do.” Maan commands.

“Maan, don’t mind. But I am not a suitable person for this matter.” He said.

“Then who will fight from my side if she files a case against me?” Maan asked.

“You know her.” Adi said.

Maan stared at him.

“Trust me Maan. She is best in handling these types of cases. She knows her job.” Adi stressed on his words.

“No way. I will never take her help.”

Adi put hand on his shoulder. “I can understand your situation Maan. But she is the best lawyer in these types of cases. If you care for Avi then leave your anger.” Adi trying to make him understand.

“No way.”

“Soch le Maan. Tujhe Avi zada pyari hai, ya tera gussa. I know..

“She is no less than Sania. Both left me in my weak time.” Maan’s blood was boiling in anger.

“To main konsa tujhe usse judne ke liye keh raha hu. Tujhe sirf kaam chahiye usse. Jiske liye hum fees pay karenge. It will be completely professional. Wo case ladegi or hum use pay karenge. Trust me Maan.”

Maan said nothing as he doesn’t even wanna see her face as well.

In his past, both the women hurt him in their own way. Both act selfish and left in his weak time.

“Maan are you listening to me?” He asked but Maan stood mute.

“Find another suitable lawyer. I am not gonna talk to her. And that’s final.” He told him his final decision.
